Be more approachable

Your content is good, but frankly I do not want to refer you to others as your style of writing is very arrogant

Damn, do I come across as arrogant? That's not my intention, I'll work on that.

So how do you suggest I do that? I have a very hard time handling the emails and requests, so it's hard to manage in a thoughtful way.

Thanks for being forth coming, I'm listening.

  1. No, you are not! To me you sound down-to-earth, hard working and hard thinking.

  2. I didn't get arrogant from your writing, but I have noticed quite a few typos - usually grammatical rather than spelling. Maybe when you start a thought and change it but don't delete the whole false start...?

  3. Thanks, I really am super ok with having grammatical errors, if I'm not arrogant.

Yes, I'm known for having grammatical errors, it's a lot better than it used to be, but that's the cost of writing quickly. I've eliminated spelling errors, but I'm not quite sure I can take the time to fix all the grammar errors.

  4. Not at all arogant. Quite the opposite, which is why I enjoy reading your blog and following you on twitter. You clearly know what you're talking about. You engage your network, you ask questions, and seem to listen to the answers. It's all good - keep it up.

Thanks, I'm open to feedback, so if you ever feel the opposite, I'm listening and will make changes based on feedback.

    Appreciative, jko

  6. I agree with Noah, arrogance is not something I derive from your blog. Regarding your grammatical errors, if you chose to write in txt-talk I wouldn't care; the information you share has proven invaluable.

  7. Not sure what was up with that commenter, not to worry. See you Wednesday in Cambridge.
